After working over 15 years for Seattle King County Transit (www.metrokc.gov) as a Computer System Analyst my body just broke down.
Worked full time and was on-call troubled shooter for 3 24-hours a day Transit Systems, which were operated from over 100 computer workstations along with my regular full time duties.
So, I on went on disability and move to Coos Bay, OR, to GET away from the Rat Race in Seattle (Relax), in June 1999.
I love it here, I really didn't think I'd like the small town experience (pop. around 9,500), but I love it! Other than this town the smallest town was Corpus Christi, TX (pop approx 283,474). Now, I can hear the bird's sing and the wind blow!
I Love doing research via the Internet and have been at one time a Black Fact volunteer Research Associate with the BlackFacts.com Website, which I have a mailing list and I've developed a "Thought For Today" mailing list. I'm currently retired, from working over over 31 years in the Computer Operations Industry at various levels.
Currently divorced. Three off spring daughter 38, son 34 and son 39, 2 grand kids, granddaughter 16 and grandson 14.

Enjoying My retired live since April 1999.
On my flight here December 3 during my layover in Portland, OR I had congestive heart failure. Spent 5 days at the Emanual Hospital CCU unit.
After arriving here in Sinking Spring, PA, I pasted out January 31st, I vomited 2 pints of blood. Had a bad bleeding ulcer. My heart stopped twice while in the emergency room. Stayed 7 days in the hospital here.
Now remember, June 1999 I weighed 494 pounds, when they released me from the hospital here, I weighed 339 pounds.
In Corpus Christi, Texas around 1970, I almost had a stroke. My blood pressure was around 190/120.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
In Portland, OR April 1984 I could not breathe well and was gasping for air. After I arrived at the Emergency Room was diagnosed with Pulmonary Edema. Spent 5 days is ICU.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
In Believe, WA 1996 I had a light stroke called a TIA.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
In Olympia, WA 2002 while visiting a friend, I had another attack of Pulmonary Edema. Spent 3 days there in ICU.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
In Coos Bay, OR 2004 I had an attack of I had another attack of Pulmonary Edema.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
Recently (December 3rd 2005), while changing planes at the Portland, OR Airport in route to move here, I fainted at the Airport terminal. I had another attack of Pulmonary Edema. Spent 5 days there in ICU.
I recovered, JESUS took care of me.
In Sinking Spring, PA, January 31 2006, I coughed up almost 2 pints of blood. Was diagnosed with a bleeding ulcer. Spent 6 days there in CCU.

I now can put together and maintain ANY PC.

Born in Portland, OR, March 12th 1949 at 3:35am.
Bilogical mother expired 3 months after my birth, due to complications from her pregnancy with me.
Aunt, ma fathers sister, Legally adopted me and took me took me to Corpus Christi, TX.
Where I spent the first 16 of my Life living in the Black Projects at 1908 Tuskegee Courts.
So, you might say I'm very street wise, but still learning more and more EVERYDAY.
